Education has the power to transform children’s futures. But right now, 124 million children and young people have either never started school or have dropped out, and the number is rising. A believer in the right to education, Simona auctioned a selection of her oil paintings to fundraise for children in need. The silver lining of Simona’s communist childhood was a free, high quality education that built her future. Every child should have one.
